Itinerary

AEOLIAN ISLANDS

Unesco Heritage

Astonishing places lapped by a wonderful sea, characterized by wild nature and "shaken" by two always active volcanoes, Stromboli and Vulcano. Defined as the "seven pearls of the Mediterranean", these islands enchant with their extraordinary charm. Also called Lipari Islands, they are part of one of the three archipelagos of Sicily, the other two are those of the Egadi and the Pelagie. We are in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea, north of the coast of northern Sicily and facing the Tyrrhenian coast of Messina. Administratively, in fact, they respond to the metropolitan city of Messina.
The seven islands are: Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Stromboli with the islet of Strombolicchio, Filicudi, Alicudi and Panarea with the islets of Basiluzzo, Dattilo and Lisca Bianca.
